I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Madison, WI) in Jan 2013
Interview
Very laid back interview. Talked with the assistant manager about goals and aspirations. Of course the stereotypical strengths and weaknesses came up and my favorite part was the outfit building. The last part of my interview she gave me a scenario and I had to find two outfits based on what "the customer" was looking for.

It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
