Tell me about yourself and why you want this position?

Interview
First, a virtual interview with the supervisor. Then, an in-person interview with the supervisor and department director. Thirdly, an in-person interview with the supervisor, department director, company deputy executive director, and executive director.

The interview process consisted of 2 interviews.
It was clear that the interviewers had no guidance from their only HR rep on interview etiquette and had no experience in conducting interviews. Within a few minutes of the second interview, I realized this was definitely not a place I wanted to work in. At some point during the interview, I just gave the lamest answers because i wanted to leave! Especially because of the extremely odd and inappropriate nature of the comments and questions in the interview. It was so uncomfortable and offensive!
If that's how it was in the interview, I cant imagine what it's like to actually work there. One comment from one of the interviewers was that they had a lot of turnover because they pay low salaries. I thought to myself that's probably not the only reason for the turnover.

The questions were not skills or experience related and were on the cusp of being illegal. Personal questions were asked such as, Do I have a family? What year did I graduate college?
