I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Jan 2016
Interview
The video interview was quite nerve wracking. It didn't last long (probably around 10 mins), and try not to look at yourself or the timer on the left. You have 15 seconds to prepare your answer and then you'll have a minute to respond.
Furthermore you get given a bunch of questions to answer with 200 word limit for each of them. The video questions and the competency questions vary from person to person. Also, I was not given any personality tests to answer.
Prepare for two questions for the video test beforehand as I am pretty sure that they will ask everyone these two questions( mentioned below).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1) Describe in as many words as you can as to what AlphaSights do 2) why do you want to work with AlphaSights?
Interview process was ok, several stages and language test as it was a particular language speaking role, only downside really was very little feedback given at the end when not successful. When I asked for a feedback call as to why I wasn’t successful they didn’t answer my question and it was a 2 mins call saying that I was just unsuccessful.
