I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview was very standard and conducted by the recruiter. All questions are general, but be prepared to understand the company's business model, as well as its BREAD search method. There is a "case," element; however, it does not require any strategy as this AlphaSights is not a consulting firm. Rather, you simply have to explain how you would conduct a "knowledge search."
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain the BREAD method that AlphaSights uses to search for knowledge.
I would say it was a pretty standard behavioral interview. They asked questions in both Japanese and English since this was for a position in Japan. It was conducted over Zoom, if I remember correctly.
via zoom. first round was casual just some questions and explaining the company, the second one they had me prepare a case study and do research and then proceeded to tell me everything i did wrong. needless to say did not get an offer
Extensive over multiple rounds, first its get to know you style, after that they make you cold call without context. If you ask for context, none is provided. Must do industry research beforehand.
