I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England)
Interview
It was a refreshingly straightforward and organised process that took about 5 weeks, and it would have been much quicker if I wasn't away for the holidays.
The initial application and video interview are straightforward to do. Just look over the questions that have been posted here and practice your 60 second responses. It's great that you get to record your answers a second time, I totally messed up on my first attempt!
HR was really efficient at getting back to me and a first face-to-face interview was set up within a week. It was a very enjoyable experience where the interviewer gets to know you and asks you some standard motivational questions. Use this opportunity to ask questions about the company, this will be useful for the next two rounds.
The second round is a case study interview and you get sent the case in advance. Don't get too stuck in the details for the case study, really think about what an Analyst at AlphaSights and show that you have that understanding in the interview. I found it useful to look at the cases on the website as well. I had this interview with 2 interviewers who were both lovely, and they asked me some follow-up questions about the case which are definitely not meant to catch you out or anything, just questions about my thought processes and what I found interesting/difficult about the case. More motivational questions afterwards but none of those silly "competency/tell me about a time you did this" questions.
My final interview was with one of the Managing Directors. Be prepared for a very thorough interview, and make sure you know AlphaSights inside out because you will be asked questions about it. Very intense last interview but again, they won't ask you deliberately difficult questions or anything.

Question 1
Nothing to difficult or unexpected at all - but they do expect you to know the company. So make sure you ask questions in your first couple of interviewers if there is something that you aren't too clear about.
I applied for the Graduate Analyst position at London. The process lasted for around 1 month from contacted by hr to interview. I went through HR screening and user interview. The interview process was okay.
I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview was conducted online and lasted around 20 minutes. It was a one-to-one video interview with a hiring manager. The questions were mainly focused on my background, previous experience, and motivation for applying to the Graduate Analyst position. They also asked about my expected salary and availability. The atmosphere was professional but friendly, and the interview followed a structured format.
Good interview, asking primarily about characteristics and personal experiences. Very self-focused, with a lot of emphasis on personality rather than technical ability. Overall interviewers in both screening and first-round interviews were nice people and polite.
