      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AllianceBernstein (Nashville, TN) in Oct 2018

      Interview

Everything was ok, typical for a financial firm. However, they DID NOT reimburse me for applicable travel expenses which I find highly unprofessional and unethical. Not sure if someone accidentally dropped the ball, or if this was done on purpose. Either way, not pleased by this.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why do you want to work here, when did you first hear about AB, etc. Typical behavioral based stuff. A few pretty easy "technical" questions. E.g. passive vs. active management etc.

Thank you for taking the time to share about your experience with AB. We absolutely reimburse for approved travel expenses. Please reach out to our Campus & Emerging Talent Team and we will work to get this resolved right away. Emerging talent is a critical part of our long term talent strategy and we work diligently to create a rich learning environment which allows interns and rotational associates to contribute towards important business initiatives or projects.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AllianceBernstein (Taipei) in Jun 2014

      Interview

It was a position at Taipei office. HR from Hong Kong contacted me in the beginning and scheduled an interview for me. The first round of interviews were in-person and one-on-one. There were three in total with different managers (marketing, product development, and sales). They were all asking questions based on my resume, so nothing really surprised me. A few days later the same HR from Hong Kong contacted me again and invited me to the second and last round of interview. This time it was the chairman and head of the Taipei office. He was really nice and the interview was even easier than the first round. I thought he was just screening through the candidates to make sure this person is ok to work with. Within a week, I was contacted by the same HR again and she informed me that I got the position.
