Interview
Process.
1. Screening interview with HR to assess background, aspirations & potential cultural fit.
2. Interview with partner (head of area most likes to join)
3. 5 hours of written tests comprising:
A. Timed Verbal reasoning & numeracy
B. Timed Linear sequencing - ie. What letter comes next in the following sequence.
C. Timed Abstract sequencing (what comes next in a series of shapes & lines)
D. 30min competency based interview with occupational psychologist
E. Psychometric test focussed on your behaviours in a work environment (not timed)
F. Psychometric test focussed on more personal / general behaviours. (Not timed)
Timed tests give you a certain amount of time (eg. 12 mins) to do as many questions as possible. Then you are allowed to complete the rest of the test. I guess this is designed to assess your accuracy under pressure. Personally I think accuracy trumps speed - so recommend you go at your own pace.
Step 4. Further interviews with senior partners subject to test results.
Nb. Approx 2-3 weeks between stages.

Get-to-know chat, Assessment Test (online / analytical), Interview with Team Phycologists, Multiple Case Interviews (mostly at peer or partner level), then final Partner interview with the practice head. In general, rather structured, but can stretch out quite long

Quite many questions probing into PM approach and technical capability. For director level, not much discussion for business development
It was a 6 month long process with around 10 different interactions including 3 full assessments. This was fully virtual during 2021, now back to hybrid. All interviewers are very cordial, but the assessments are tough and the bar is very high.

Logistics excellent.
However the interviews were unstructured and felt at each stage that any notes or hand off between interviewers were non existent.
No alignment in role or clarity throughout the process.
