Got a cold call from company recruiter. Interviewed with software director then the mobile team. They make you write a very simple app in swift. You are given a collection of patient names and status. All you have to do with put the data in a table view controller then if you tap on a patient it should segue to a view controller with a text view. The text view should persist the data to local storage. They give a laptop during the interview that is connected to big screen tv and they watch you code. While you are coding they are on their laptops grinning at you and probably messaging each other. The task is very simple to do but you have to be good at coding in front of an audience while they judge your every move. For some reason ( which i should probably see a therapist for lol) I got really nervous and froze, despite how painfully simple the task was. I didn’t get an offer cause they thought I was inexperienced in swift though I can assure you I’m not, I guess I got too nervous. Not really sure how to improve probably shoulda got some anxiety meds or something lol
Pros: They have a quick turn around. The whole process takes less than 2 weeks.
Cons: They don't have flexible hours or work from home policy. It seems like everyone is overworked.
