The interview started with questions about a number of different topics - PHP and how it works, databases with some trickier questions like cursor-based pagination, questions on concurrency, the differences between parallel and concurrent execution, GraphQL. I was then given a take-home assignment that consisted of integrating a fairly simple external API with any language. The solution to the assignment was then overviewed, and I was asked questions about why I did it as I did it, how I could improve it if I had more time.
