The interview process comprised a phone screening, a Zoom interview, and an onsite final interview with a facility tour. The entire process was efficient, concluding in just over a month. I found every individual I interacted with to be exceptionally welcoming, and I genuinely enjoyed each stage of the process.
However, I encountered an issue with follow-up communication. Despite assurances from the company’s recruiting supervisor that I would receive a decision within a week after my final interview, I have not heard back. Two weeks passed without any communication, prompting me to send a follow-up email requesting an update. After receiving no response for another week, I sent a second email, which also went unanswered. At this stage, I’m left to assume that I wasn’t selected for the position.
It’s disappointing, especially since the company is relatively small—with only 23 applicants for the position on LinkedIn, suggesting that providing feedback to final-round candidates should be manageable. My final round seemed to go particularly well, which makes the lack of communication even more unfortunate.
Despite this, I believe the company is great, and the people I met during the process were truly impressive.
