I applied online. I interviewed at Al's Garden Center (Oregon) (Sherwood, OR) in Feb 2020
Interview
Super quick and pretty friendly. Very general questions; it was my first interview and they made me feel very comfortable. Very positive experience, and by the end I had been fairly certain I got the job.

Interview
Was contacted by a nice HR person and did a quick screening interview on the phone. Later I did an in person interview with the store manager. It was a pleasant experience, though it took several weeks to hear any news back.

Interview
The interview process was fine overall. People were very friendly, and I enjoyed my conversations. However, people should be aware that this role is to supervise 25+ people and they offered $19/hr. I said I'd need a wage in line with what this position would be at other companies (low to mid $20's) and was ghosted. They didn't even respond when I followed up a few days later. In this day and age, to ghost people after a second interview is immensely unprofessional, so future candidates should be aware that they do this.
