A multi-stage process, light on the technical but very focused on fit. Seemingly made most of technical judgement based on referral and experience, and once over that barrier the in person interviews and tours were used to determine if you were a good addition to the team - a strong fit into the culture is a plus.

Question 1
I was asked about why I chose engineering as a career.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Airborne Systems North America (Santa Ana, CA) in May 2016
Interview
It took a couple months to get my foot in the door but once I got a phone interview the process was very enjoyable and quick. I had a phone interview followed by an on site interview two weeks later. The on site had an interview with senior members followed by a more relaxed interview with some of the newer workers. As a parachute enthusiast I was very impressed with the projects mentioned.
