I applied online. I interviewed at Air Line Pilots Association, International
Interview
Interviewed for a communications role supporting United Airlines pilots in Rosemont outside of O"Hare Airport. Went through numerous rounds - which went very well - with the folks - and was basically down to a "what's an offer look like to you and when can you start?"
Then heard nothing and then received a phone call from their HR person who allowed some coworker's friend to apply after the process and told me that they hired that person because he was an internal referral.
Yet, went and looked up this person a few weeks later on LinkedIn and they had zero matching qualifications, whatsoever.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Air Line Pilots Association, International (McLean, VA)
Interview
It’s around an 8 week process after your first interview. They also requested that my first interview be at 5pm on a Friday. 10 candidates makes the first round and then 5 the next. At the end of the second round the hiring manager called me the wrong name at the end of the interview and I was then ghosted.

Walk me through an experience where you pitched a story to a major media outlet
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Air Line Pilots Association, International in Aug 2023
Interview
Interviewers seemed uninterested about during the interview. They mostly talked about themselves and experience working together. They called after 3 weeks of the first round interview, just to say they hired a referred candidate 2 weeks ago. Very horrible experience.
