Two weeks later, HR requested for my documents and salary expectations. When I received the offer, it was significantly below both my current package and the salary range stated in the job posting. HR was evasive when I questioned this discrepancy. Despite negotiations, the revised offer remained a significant pay cut, which I ultimately declined. Entire process is a waste of time, as they should not have proceeded with the interview knowing their budget was well below my current package.
