As a fresher candidate
They focus more on Subject knowledge.
Focus on one particular core subject of your choice and they'll question you.
Tool knowledge/Experience in CATIA or Hypermesh is very much preferred for CAD/CAE roles
if interested in that design, expect a question or two

All the Questions were from Strength of materials
Shear Force and Bending moment diagrams
Buckling load n stuff
mostly if you good with formulae, you are safe atleast for fresher
