      Control Systems Engineer Interview

      May 5, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Plymouth, MI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Advics (Plymouth, MI) in Apr 2014

      Interview

I had two interviews, both of them with the whole management team and HR in the same room. The second interview was useless because we went through exactly the same questions as before. Very simple and natural conversation, all of them were very friendly. We basically went through my resume while I explained my responsibilities in each of the jobs listed. Got a few questions about my engineering knowledge or statements in my resume, but nothing too specific or complicated. There wasn't any type of technical test or exam to validate my knowledge, but I did not lie about my capabilities either. In conclusion, an easy interview, I would say, but this is because the interviewers made a great job at establishing a relaxing and casual atmosphere. I was no nervous at all!
