I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Acumen (Burlingame, CA)
Interview
The first portion involves a writing test. You have to provide an analysis based on a dataset that they provide for you. Once that has been submitted and reviewed, you will have a phone interview with a recruiter. They will discuss the position and the company in broad strokes while trying to find out your communications skills.
If successful, you'll have a phone interview with other Policy Analysts at Acumen where they will go more in depth on your ability to conduct analysis and find out more about statistical background.

Phone Screen Interview
The first round was a phone screening conducted by a recruiter. This conversation focused on my background, relevant experience, and understanding of the role. In-Person Interview
The second round was an in-person interview with the hiring manager and potentially a team member. This round went deeper into my technical expertise and practical experience. I was asked to walk through specific projects, explain my decision-making process, and demonstrate how I approach real-world challenges.
