I applied through university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Actionist Consulting Group (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
There were 3 rounds. The first and second was mostly case work with one or two quick behaviorals. My first two interviewers were analysts who were easy-going and friendly. Good experience and nothing out of the ordinary.
The final round had 3 interviews - 2 cases with partners (?) and 1 chat with an analyst. The senior guys kept interrupting me when I spoke and didn’t give guidance through the case. Then there was a happy hour which I felt obligated to stay for. Got a odd feel about transom from the final round. Office also seemed kinda small and excluded.
The process dragged on for 5 weeks and it felt very non-standard to have 5 interviews. Needs to be a leaner process with an initial screen. I got a generic email about not having an update for me and then I was made to wait more than one week after my on-site final round for the rejection which was disrespectful. the juniors were nice but didn’t like the way the senior folks handled this.

Interview
Two case interviews with two different interviewers for the first round. Very typical case interview types, heavy emphasis on quick mental math. Interviewers also give you feedback on how you did post case
I applied through university. I interviewed at Actionist Consulting Group (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
2 Skype interviews, each consisting of ~15 mins behavioral and ~40 mins case.
The positive result turns around really quick within 3 hours after the interview. The rejection result takes a week for me to hear back.
Both interviewers are super nice and kindly give feedback via phone calls.
