I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ace Parking (San Diego, CA) in May 2011
Interview
Pre-screening include a simple math test to verify you have the minimal skills to handle cash transactions. Once you passed the test, you get interviewed by one of the property managers. This completes the interview with Ace Parking, however, a second interview with the hotel's general manager was needed. On another scheduled date, I went to the hotel and met with the GM. That interview was also simple and was more focused towards your experience within hospitality. Thie interview with the GM later did not become a requirement.
Quick and easy as long as you have the experience. Explain in detail what customer service means in a professional manner and you are more likely to get a call back.
At the lobby of a mall because the office doesn't have room to do and interview it was weird but not the strangest I guess. Could be in the parking lot

Interview
I attended a hiring event where I had a group interview with several other candidates. The questions were simple and behavioral, and recruiters were professional. They offered me the job on the spot and I began onboarding at the event.
