During the interview he asked me alot of questions, then proceeded to ask me was I ok with the hourly rate of pay, Of course I said yes, then proceeded to ask me about my work schedule what hours I would like to work/days and was I ok with working 4 days a week, did I want 36 hours a week or 40 hours a week.. and then he asked me if I had any days I needed off within the next 6 months that he could get them approved now instead of me saying a few weeks down the road that I had a drs appointment and needed off that I wouldnt be gauranteed off. I gave him one day that I would need off and then he said ok we can just put that in and let you have that day off.. I said ok I was pretty sure by this point I had gotten the job based off of those questions. well we say our goodbyes... then I get a email the next day saying Thank you for your time, but we will be pursuing other candidates for the job. WHAT!? Ok?? What did I miss why would you do a interview and after you are done asking questions go into offering pay/schedules/needing time off/ the pto's and benefits and then say sorry we will pursue other candidates.
