      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AbbVie (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2021

      Interview

The first step of the interview is a 45 minute behavior interview. It is a very basic interview and is completely comprised of behavioral questions. You're put into a Zoom waiting room where a recruiter will put you in a breakout room with 1-2 current employees at AbbVie. They will introduce themselves and then ask you to introduce yourself. From there the questions are just rapid fire and you are to answer each behavioral question. This will last for around 30 minutes and the last 15 minutes is for you to ask any questions.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at AbbVie (North Chicago, IL) in Dec 2018

      Interview

Had a phone interview with HR which was all behavioral questions. I didn't hear back for another month about next steps. They finally contacted me and said they want to do a final round on site interview. On the day of the final round, there were three different 30 minute interviews. Two were with current managers in the program and one of them was with HR. All of them asked very similar behavioral questions so it got very repetitive to explain all of my experiences over and over again to each of them. There were no technical questions or case studies, which was nice. The most technical question was asking for more details about technical projects listed on the resume. It is a program that requires some technical skills so they want to hear that you have some experience with technology and problem solving. At the end of the interviews, a current employee in the program takes you out for coffee and answers any questions you may have about the company or the role.
