Their recruiter reached out to me over indeed.com, gave me a brief description of the job they think I'd be good at, and asked if I would have any interest in the role.
I confirmed I was interested in the role, and the recruiter set up a phone interview with me.
Phone interview took about 20 minutes, had all the basic questions (work history, do you know anything about the company, does the job description sound like something you'd like, where do you see yourself in 5 years, etc.)
After the phone interview, I was contacted to set up an in person interview.
The in person interview was ehh. The hiring manager put beyond minimal effort into telling me anything about the role, even when I asked for more information about the specifics of what the position entailed....
The hiring manager just generally gave off the vibe that she'd really rather be doing anything other than interviewing me.....which is fine, but *YOUR* company is looking to hire 5-6 people to deal with a backlog....so don't act like I'm not qualified to do what amounts to document review.
To be honest, AVRS would be better served by having the CDK recruiter handle the in-person interviews....because I can't imagine I'm the only well qualified candidate that's been dismayed by the on-site manager.
