ATI Systems interview questions

I was invited to an interview via a call, followed by a confirmation email. The interview itself was valuable and went pretty well. However, there were two issues. First, by the end, the interviewer mentioned they were looking for someone with more experience, even though they appreciated my mindset. This left me wondering why I was invited to the on-site interview if I didn’t meet their preferred experience level. Second, I never received a rejection or feedback email, despite sending a follow-up and being told I’d get a response with my status and feedback within a week. It’s now been two months, and the job vacancy is marked as closed.
