      Business Analytics Analyst Interview

      Feb 9, 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ASML in Feb 2021

      Interview

I had a short introductory interview with the head of the department. There was a lot of emphasis on the product and when I failed to keep up he concluded that there would be no second round. This is completely understandable and not the reason why my experience was negative. My experience was negative because during the ice breaker questions in the beginning one of the first questions that he asked was whether I have a husband or children. Is this something you ask male candidates as well or do you only ask women close to their 30s? This question has nothing to do with the job and is completely inappropriate.
