I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AMP Services (WA) in Apr 2021
Interview
I interviewed with the recruiter via zoom. She seemed very interested in my hospitality background, so much so that we never even discussed my payroll experience. The company is growing on the East coast and needed someone to help them expand. The job posting stated 2+ years payroll experience (I have 3 years). She asked me for my salary expectations (I provided a range within their advertised threshold) and she told me they offer much more than that and I would qualify for the top end. She was going to schedule me for an interview with the CEO and his wife ASAP and even said she hoped I didn't receive an offer from another company before then (but if I did, I should contact her over the weekend because she is always working). She didn't even provide me time at the end to ask any questions I had. Regardless, I left the interview feeling very excited and hopeful to move forward for a position that was well-suited with my experience.
When I followed up the next week, she told me the CEO thought my background was more catered to HR than payroll and that I wouldn't be moving forward. Again, very frustrating considering we didn't even discuss my payroll experience in the screening interview and she seemed over the moon with my background. This left a very bad taste in my mouth, as I was excited to work for the company.
Hopefully the recruiter has tightened up her prescreening skills since, as this was a waste of time for myself, her position, and the CEO.

Interview
The interview took place online and it was a video call. The video call included myself and a handful of employers who were all there to ask questions. The interview took about 30 minutes

Question 1
An example of working to multiple deadlines and how did I deal with this.
Hello, it appears this is for AMP in Auckland rather than the accounting firm in Seattle Washington USA. Can you please remove this and repost on their site? Thank you.

Interview
One of AMP's core values - Inspire Confidence - isn't reserved for just clients or the first day of work. For me, it began at the interview. Both Megan and Rick were unfailingly kind, talkative, and asked meaningful questions. They listened attentively when I answered and kept engaged in the conversation. Most importantly, they were straight-forward. No, "We'll call you in a few days that turns into a week or more." Megan got me an interview with Rick the next day and I accepted his offer the day after that. It was a seamless process.

Question 1
No nonsense questions, no "Tell me about how you did X". During the phone screening they want to know what you've done, what you want to do, they'll tell you what they're doing and my advice is to let them know how you fit into that. Rick's interview is much different - it's a two-way conversation. He'll tell you a little (a lot) about himself and you can pick his brain for more, then he'll ask you about yourself and you can answer straight from the heart with him.
