Sent in an online application (run of the mill form with a personality test that you have to pass to be considered) and received a call a few days later, asking basic screen questions (any tattoos, must have "conservative hair", wardrobe requirements). Passed that and they scheduled an interview for later that week. I arrived about ten minutes early to the interview, wearing black slacks, dress flats and a light sweater. I made small talk with the interviewer for a minute or two, and then they asked questions like: - When is a time you had to stand in line? Feelings? - When have you been in a dirty restaurant or shop? Feelings? - How would you interact with someone you've never met? - Describe a time that you were challenged, and how you overcame it. I made a point to concisely stress professionalism, accountability, empathy, having a friendly demeanor towards guests and taking pride in a clean workplace, which seemed to go over well. I have no "official" prior work experience, so I used examples from class and odd jobs instead. The interviewer then described the AMC Stubs program and asked me to parrot back the information, which was easy since I had researched the program prior to the meeting. We went through several scenarios where I had to pitch the card and its benefits to various potential guests. Not bad if you memorized the info beforehand. After the role playing, the interviewer went over potential scheduling (pretty much 7-8 AM to 1-2 AM, but I was open) and all of the more specific wardrobe and job details. Interviewer asked if I had any questions, to which I responded that I had done some prior research and did not have questions at this time. When the interview finished, I was told that there were still several other candidates left to interview, and that if I didn't receive a call on a certain date, the position had already been filled.
