I recently had an interview with ALPFA, and overall, it was a positive experience. The process started with a quick 30-minute phone screening with a recruiter, who was friendly and asked about my background and goals.
The second round was a video call with a manager and a team member. They asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions, focusing on my problem-solving skills and past experiences. One of the questions was challenging but fair, and I appreciated that they allowed me to think through it instead of rushing me.
What stood out was how much they emphasized their company culture. They shared stories about team collaboration and professional growth opportunities, which made me even more excited about the role.
A small downside was the length of time between the second round and receiving feedback—it took over two weeks, and I had to follow up once. That said, the response I eventually got was detailed, whether I moved forward or not.
