      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AARP (San Angelo, TX) in Jun 2014

      Interview

Called to get an appointment and came in at the time agreed upon, with my personal information. Filled out the AARP application. I was approved by the main office in San Antonio, because I was over 55 years old and had low income. I got the job, but she asked that I bring a few papers to verify my financial situation. We scheduled a time later in the week for me to bring the papers to her; which I did, as scheduled.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

She asked me to bring my proof that I was receiving financial assistance, such as Social Security award letter, Food Stamps award letter, etc.

      Interview

I answered a flyer, stating that a person 55+ could get a part-time job. I applied and was hired. They were not concerned about my work history, because the opportunity was a retraining position, and they had a location for me to learn this skill.

      Question 1

To bring my financial information, stating how much I was getting from the Social Security benefits, because I was a widow.
