      I interviewed at AARP

      Interview

After a screening phone interview in early spring, the HR said the accounting department is under re-organization so they won't have any interns during the summer. At the early June, the same HR contacted me again to set up an interview. I went in, a pretty conversational interview with my manager and got the offer right way, At the end of interview, he is actually showing me around and meeting people.

      Question 1

They actually asked about my cover letter, which I wrote 6 month ago and can't remember what I had put in there.... so better go back and check everything you sent to them.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at AARP

      Interview

A phone interview and a teams interview about a week or two apart. It was a very straightforward process. The phone interview was more geared to resume-based questions and the teams interview was much more of a personality test, using the STAR method.

Tell me about a time when you got results that far exceeded others’ expectations.

      Interview

Multiple interviews, each with different people. Very nice interviewers and not too difficult questions. I was told there would be another interview, but I ended up getting the job before that interview.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AARP (Washington, DC) in Jun 2024

      Interview

The supervisor was really, really, sweet. Communication was a little late so I ended up interning with someone else, but everyone seemed like they cared a lot. I learned a lot more about the position and the process felt honest and reassuring of me as interviewee.
