I interviewed at A Step to Freedom

      Interview

I got reached out to complete my pre-employement application and set up my online interview. I didn't get my actual meeting link until less than 12 hours before the meeting, but that's not the worst thing in the world. What WAS terrible was the fact that I showed up and no one arrived. After about 10 minutes, I left and sent a polite email to ensure all is well or see if we needed to reschedule. After two days of no response, I sent a follow-up email again and less than an hour later I got a template rejection email. I don't even get the courtesy of someone showing up after I arrange time and preparation away from work for this interview. And I don't even get any explanation or response after being kept waiting for an interview. I don't know if they already hired someone or they decided I was no longer worth an interview, but either way, that lack of communication was gross and shows me what kind of experience employees can look forward to if this is how they treat people before they even get through the door.
