A-Star interview questions

The technical interview was on Microsoft Teams with the PI, a senior research officer, and a postdoc. I shared my screen, walked through the slides, and emphasized my individual contribution—design decisions, trade-offs, and how I debugged the riskiest parts.

10 minute chat twice with boss and in charge over coffee on two separate days. Casual talk about studies and projects done before graduation, interest, skills, strengths, weaknesses and prospects.
