My interview experience was very disappointing and reflected a lack of organization, professionalism, and care for the candidate experience.
The process lasted nearly four weeks from my initial application/contact to the actual interview. During that time, the interview was rescheduled multiple times. In one instance, the interview was moved to another date at a later time in the day, and the interviewer later said that time was too late, despite the fact that it had been selected on their end.
When the interview finally took place, the calendar invitation did not include a meeting link, which created unnecessary confusion and delay. What made this especially frustrating was the lack of accountability around the missing link issue. There was no clear apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The issue was simply described as a system error, which made the interaction feel dismissive and careless.
Beyond the logistical issues, the overall tone of the interview felt cold and disengaged. The impression I had was that the process was being carried out without genuine care, presence, or respect for the candidate experience. The most difficult part of the interview was not the content of the questions, but the lack of engagement and consideration throughout the process.
This experience left me with a very negative impression of the hiring process. There is an opportunity for the company to review how candidate interviews are being managed, as this experience did not reflect a serious or respectful hiring process. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hiring process to other candidates.
