I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 14th and Boom (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2017
Interview
I had never heard about the company but the recruiter said it was an up and coming ad agency focused on brands in fashion, fitness and beauty which I'm really interested in so I figured I'd apply. The first step was a phone interview with the founder which was pretty inspiring learning about why she started her own agency. She wanted to make sure I would fit into the culture and that the role would meet my career goals. Then in-person interview with the Digital Director who got more into what the day to day would be like and then an in-person interview with the founder. The whole interview process took maybe two weeks.

I applied online. I interviewed at 14th and Boom (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Emails back and forth to set up and interview. Basic interview lasted about 20 minutes in one office and then I moved to another room where I met a team of other interns who were and did mock Facebook assets with them for about an hour. This was strange to me. I spent a ton of money in the parking garage and didn't realize I'd be staying after hours.
