First tech round was a good 2D grid array problem. I really enjoyed talking to the interviewer. He was a senior person and hence more matured and reasonable. The second tech interview was with a person who is probably a junior engineer. This guy was not positive in anyway and was very rude/grumpy compared to the first interviewer. This guy also popped a Dynammic programming question which really caught me off guard. I am very upset that the interviewer would expect me to solve this in an interview. I am from the games industry too, we don't use dynamic programming in games and I am very confident that I have all the experience to do well in this job. There is a reason why FAANG companies discourage Dynamic programming questions in interviews. Interview is to test my skill as an engineer not to see if I am a Competitive programming champion. I really liked this company, but I do not want to work with a person with this kind of attitude. Please remember if I am an all-star gold medal leet code problem solver I would rather start my company or work for FAANG. So be a little reasonable when you interview your candidates and please vet your employees and send senior people to interview the candidates.
