You create your own curriculum to teach for $10.00 per hour for 1-1 tutoring, which is way too low for this field. Once I figured how much work was actually required, I finally left. The per hour is only actual face time, not including your prep (remember, you're creating your own curriculum), or after class notes to parents.

When they send out a job to you, an unknown number of other tutors are also sent the same job. So, just because you accepted the job (like a scheduled gig) doesn't mean you will get it. Sometimes, you're getting a lot of jobs and putting in great hours, then other times you'll have weeks of dry spells.
So it all just depends and I still recommend working here! It's awesome, once you get the hang of it!
