Good if you have a good team

      Anonymous freelancer

      Business outlook

      Pros

You learn a lot of teamwork skills, their pay is higher than average high street stores, if you have a good team (excluding managers but bonus if they are good) time goes by faster and you enjoy the job more.

      Cons

Pay is higher for a reason, you have to do team talks that require you to remember ideologies, clothing divisions etc. You have to do a lot of tasks in a day.

      Pros

      - Staff get 30% discount, which is really good! - They have a really high standards towards their customers - Trainings are somewhat good - Most team members and some managers are very nice, and supportive

      Cons

      - The pay is not great compared to the amount of work — it’s not just about folding clothes and providing good customer service; you also need to talk about sales and figures, discuss how to increase sales, etc. - Hours can be really long. The earliest shift is 7am, and closing the store can be as late as 10pm. - Holidays are really hard to get approved by management. You need to follow up with them, otherwise, they just don’t care.

      Pros

The pay is good and the allowance is also good.

      Cons

The managerial level. If you are lucky, your managers will be professional and capable. If that is the case then the downside will only be the boarding school-like work culture, always under a magnifying glass and new rules daily.
