Pay is consistent, easy to gain tenure and get better shifts, enough servers that its reasonable to get shift coverage when you want it.
Cons
Consistently volatile management, managers moods decides whether a shift is easy or not, regardless of a 200 cover lunch or 400 cover dinner. Firing left and right, also depending on mood. Emotionally extremely stressful, despite being open for 40 years more than half of the staff on the floor has been hired in the past few months due to extremely high turnover.
