- High bonus (ave. 4-6 months) but in the recent year, the bonus is being reduce.
Cons
- Microomanagement from senior manager: staffs are in tight control and follow defined exact steps by boss. No delegation, everything have to be reviewed with managers such as emails, message communicated to supplier. Followed exact templates that used to be used by manager, no creatity. The age of managers are too old, they are quite conservative and difficult to receive both innovation and feedback.
- Blaming culture: no thinking about the common benifit of business, each department tries to protect benifit of them
- Bullying culture: win-win solution is not respected at Heineken Vietnam, employees have to show to higher levels that they try to gain benefit to their department at all prices and have to dominant stakeholders. Abusive speeches is normally used jn communication between BOSS and employee.
- No structure system and low technology: information is documented anywhere and no regular update. in order to have information, you have to ask old employee. planning system based on human using excel (recently, ERP system is used, but not improve too much). Data input for report is mostly come from manual input.
