What is the salary like at TJ Maxx?

Good pay for a part time job, Stays super busy so it makes the day go by fast

Sometimes you are stuck with teenagers who don't do much during their shift, so that could get frustrating

The Management team and co-workers are wonderfully friendly and helpful people. I love taking care of my customers and our team works well together. The schedule is flexible with good benefits.

The salary is very low and management is cutting my hours from full-time to 30 hours,

Horrible pay, mediocre management that gets bonuses if you push credit cards but you get no incentive, benefits and hours are skimped if you are part-time

They increase your salary every now then by a little bit, it is not much work and the managers are nice/fun, so is most of the workers.

A lot of people quit and get hired so you’re never with the same people, it is always always busy along with a long line especially on the weekends. A good amount of moody customers and you always have to ask customers about the Tjmaxx card( it is mandatory). Also you only get 10% discount though there is a lot of free food in the break room and a lot of food they get for celebrations.

-Management being two faced when it comes time to push the credit card - the credit card (awful benefits) -10% employee discount is basically just the tax off an item and a slap in the face considering the low wage we receive. - the store often smells
