How flexible is your schedule working at Sport Clips?

Working at Sport Clips has provided me wonderful training opportunities with my technical hair cutting skills and management. The trainings I have received over the years have impacted my career and my personal relationships. Sport Clips offers a large amount of great clients and great pay with a supportive system. Working for the team leaders, LeeHill we receive annual raises, a great benefits package and management receive paid holidays, among many other offerings. My team leaders are supportive, help me reach my goals and always follow the Sport Clips values. My career personally has had a positive impact on my family by providing financial security, the opportunity to purchase our home, ability to have health insurance for my family, planning for my retirement and a flexible schedule. I am thankful I took a chance on Sport Clips 10 years ago!

Flexible work schedule and the people.

Gordon built a great company but unfortunately his son does not take after him. The CEO, Edward does not know how to lead a company. Acts on emotions and not facts. Does not follow core values "Do Your Best. Do What's Right. Treat Others the Way They Want to Be Treated” but expects everyone else to do so. I saw great leaders leave while I was there because they could not tolerate his behavior. I could not deal with how good people were being treated and left after a few years once I realized it was not going to improve and no one was holding the CEO accountable.

Good for building up a clientele, flexible hours

Time off policy & benefits are not good. All of the stylists wish we had set hours/days instead of a different schedule every single week. I've also been here 3+ years and have never gotten a raise, which has been hard on all of the employees. They changed the pay structure a few years ago, whereby we used to get pretty decent bonuses on our paychecks every 2 weeks for service upsells and product commission, but now the barriers are MUCH higher, making it nearly impossible to get bonuses anymore, which has also decreased our overall income.
