How is management perceived at Sollars and Associates?

flexible scheduling, freedom to pick clients, lots of locations, very good for clinical internships and beginner therapists to get experience in the field

fee split is terrible, billing is terrible, no EHR system which is terrible, getting a response to an email sometimes never happens, clients get frustrated with billing and therapists have too much admin responsibilities we do not get paid to do or should have to learn if we have an admin team. There are also some ethical concerns honestly. Passive aggressive management. No sense of community, I have seen maybe 3 coworkers in the office and speak to 1. Lots of turnover. They wouldn't even purchase a filing cabinet for an office. Insurance claims are not billed on time, extremely low paychecks and only get paid once a month. Burn out and frustration. I have to manually type every detail about the client for every session on a google sheet which feels sketchy.

Autonomy to choose your clients (kind of), they'll hire anyone, supervision is included for LLs, steady stream of referrals for LLs (kinda dries up after you're no longer an LL since they make less money off you).

Low support of clinicians, their ehr is Google, you need to do way more than at any other practice in terms of keeping track of billing/insurance (especially for a 50/50 split as an LL), there are often issues with payments, a lot of billing is done incident to Dr. Sollars - which, based on my limited knowledge, should not be happening, low fee split (but not lower than most large practices). They definitely seem to care more about money than their clinicians.

Option to be 100% virtual

Billing is a nightmare. If you like getting paid what you’re owed, this is not the place to work. Management (the owner) is money hungry and doesn’t care about the therapists. She is also the least kind individual and not understanding at all.
