How are the career development opportunities at Refresco?

My 3 year experience in Refresco

      Pros

Refresco is a company where it feels good to grow and develop. A high level of technical expertise is required, and numerous training programs are provided to help you reach the expected standard. There are also many opportunities for career development within the plants and the group. Finally, managerial support accompanies you throughout your journey, and you never feel like you’re on your own.

      Cons

Working with many different people makes the social adaptability required more complex. Many profiles are quite unconventional, and at times it can feel like being in a schoolyard. It’s important to remain attentive to interpersonal behavior, as what may amuse some can be disliked by others.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re really pleased to read about your 3 year journey in Margès, especially your positive feedback on training opportunities, technical development, and the support you’ve received from your managers. Creating an environment where people can grow and feel supported is very important to us. We also appreciate your honest point about working with diverse profiles and the impact this can have on day to day interactions. We recognise that collaboration across different personalities can be challenging, and we continue to focus on promoting respectful and inclusive behaviours across our teams. Thank you again for your balanced feedback, and we encourage you to keep sharing your perspective internally as well. Refresco HR & Communications Team

Avoid the accounting department at all cost

      Business outlook

      Pros

Hard to find any besides that the people come from all around the world.

      Cons

      - Environnement is very toxic: they expect you to work like in a big 4: You have 40 hours a week, you will be planned for 45 hours. If an employee takes longer than the time planned for that task, it considered as bad. - It’s expected from you to do overtime but not considered as working hard. - You will be undermined and made feel worthless - Working fast and good will bring you nowhere. - Lack of appreciation and recognition - Highly toxic working environment. No respect of boundaries. You will be called after working hours on your personal phone to ask you to work or ask questions related to work. It’s common to push some employees to leave instead of firing them just because they are slower and do not accept doing overtime. I do not recommend working in that department. Only if you want to become depressed.

      Pros

A fast-paced environment offers ample growth opportunities and impact potential. The culture is innovative, inclusive and nurturing, fostering a supportive atmosphere.

      Cons

The work environment moves quickly, presenting both challenges and opportunities; however, employees who are able to adapt and remain flexible often find this fast-paced setting to be a significant advantage.

      Pros

Company challenges you a lot and work can be demanding, however, lots of room take to take ownership and think big. An entrepreneurial environment that allows for growth and personal development.

      Cons

At times not enough resources making the job extra challenging. Career path not always clear.

Opportunities abound, but pay and leadership stability lack

      Technical manager

      Business outlook

      Pros

Benefits are relatively good, colleagues are good to work with, lots of opportunities in a maturing environment.

      Cons

Bonuses are formulated from things you have no direct control over and are factored in as part of the overall compensation which makes the base pay trend lower than market. High leadership turnover.
