Pros
> Free staff food in am & pm > Some nice colleagues > head office team are lovely too > CEOS are all lovely. > Made some friends for lifeeee :)
Cons
> Floor staff can sometimes seem extremely burnout. > Place full of micromanagers and nitpicks. And just bossy style management. (Made this clear in the beginning this is not for me) shout at you, give you backchat and try humiliate you in front of other staff members and guests , no thanks 😂 > Wouldn’t say it’s wow, has an old feel to it, it’s just a bar with some seating (quite small also) as it’s just one floor and you got private dining areas if you wish to hire it out for an event etc > Awkward at times. When the restaurant isn’t full and as a receptionist have to sit people in an empty restaurant (most of the times) gives you a weird feeling. > Inconsistent hours. They’ll tell you full time and advertise up to 48hrs a week but lucky if you touch 30 another reason why they got quite a high turn over also. > if it’s not busy they will just tell you to clock out but of course you don’t get paid after that > Closing the club is hell. You have to sit downstairs all on your own, even when no one is in club you still have to wait til close which is annoying. > Members are far too comfortable and entitled. > Guests can be a pain when dining in QV. They will complain about anything really if you don’t kiss their feet lol > I’ve worked in previous members club and must admit it doesn’t scream luxury Quo Vadis isn’t as exclusive as they claim it’s quite easy to get in if you know a member. Yes it looks cool but that’s about it. They break the rules all the time there. > Probation was cut short due to a new manager that came after me not liking me. He was purely jealous and unsure why. A lot of others said the same thing. > Staff talk about each other a lotttt so I started seeing the cracks and got toxic. > Rota can be all over the place , random start times sometimes put you on many doubles back to back which isn’t healthy. I was placed on 4 11:00 - 22:00 on purpose . > As a receptionist they will ask you to serve drinks and take any orders on the outside for any walk ins, so again it’s quite badly organised in that sense. Having to answer the phone , greet members and guests on top of serving drinks for people … yeah it’s not the most nicest :/
