How flexible is your schedule working at Poplin?

      Not for their workers

      Pros

Pick your schedule on demand pay if you level up

      Cons

Their customer service team is awful! They are completely useless to their laundry pros. Unwilling to help with even small issues they are very rude and can never help resolve an issue. Always think the works of their laundry pros and treat us like cash cows. Very disappointed as I love the flexible schedule and instant pay out. Basically make sure you never mess up anything so you never have to message with them or have your account suspended.

      Pros

      • Flexible hours • Good opportunity to serve your local community • Decent payout per order (when the app works)

      Cons

      • Unstable app that freezes constantly and has to be deleted/reinstalled regularly • No real support for workers — you’re penalized even when app issues are to blame • Point deductions with no room for explanation • Instant payouts are restricted without warning • You’re just a number, not a partner — no matter how long or well you work

      Enjoy serving others

      Pros

Work from home , make my own hours. I enjoy doing laundry and helping people in my community. I have some wonderful clients.

      Cons

Loss of regular clients most likely due to the economy which isn't a reflection on poplin. But I wish we were paid more than. 75 a pound. I work really hard for my customers.

      Pros

      Cons

Support is NOT on your side. Customers can write terrible and verifiably inaccurate reviews, hurting your rankings, and policy does nothing to back you up

      Poplin app issues creates thievery

      Pros

Work from home on your schedule

      Cons

Not only did my regulars stop using poplin, the one I had left who I serviced every week for 9 months didn't tip or rate the last order. I just assumed customer didn't tip and wasn't able to contact customer about it. I finally after a few weeks of getting priority requests from her but no rating or tip from the last order, contacted cs who told me it's an app glitch and would get back to me via email. That hasn't happened, I still don't have my tip and poplin said it happens to other LPS too who had taken her orders. I Stopped taking her, the only customer who continued to stay with poplin out of the 6 regulars I had. And I told poplin that, still no word from them. And now no orders at all. Poplin has lawsuits for no payment to lps and I don't see this company surviving a jury trial. I'm over it, poplin I want my money.
