Are transfers to other offices possible with Nissan?

Should have left earlier when I had the chance.

      Marketing manager (various roles)
      Current employee
      Melbourne
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Location, some decent people, salary and company car perks which unfortunately are being scaled back

      Cons

Nissan is in financial peril, volume is declining and Chinese brands and coming on hard. I think's it's time to jump ship. No salary reviews for all staff in this financial year due to financial stress. We are reducing head count, opportunities to move or rotate are minimal.

Good company with minimal opportunities for advancement

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Relationships built with employees and dealers

      Cons

Opportunities to advance people are minimal

      Decent company Becoming too political

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Decent company. They try their best to work with employees as the company appears to be downsizing.

      Cons

Stop discounting experience because you want to hire people based on this DEI initiative in higher positions. I’ve seen people get roles they clearly were not qualified for. If they quality then they deserve it! If not, it’s not fair to the people that have made sacrifices with the company throughout the years under Carlos Ghosn. Like moving to different countries and moving all over the US. Back when it wasn’t so easy to get promotions.

      Senior recruiter
      Current employee
      Budapest
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Great international team collaboration and opportunities to relocate within Europe, or to ME or Africa for senior leaders.

      Cons

Hierarchical, no car leased below senior manager level. Late afternoon hours from Budapest due to time difference to most LTs.
