Pros
Night work, do it at my own pace, chose how I do my route. Enjoy being out on my own.
Cons
Vans not the best. Want you to take them home, yet they're barely road worthy. Windows that Don't open, brakes that need to be hit hard, gears that need to be skipped, windows wipes fully done and oil changes needed. I get given a "load time" go in and get told that's the time to empty my van? OK. Then I'm ready to be loaded and someone who pulls up and hasn't emptied their van gets priority because their names 1st? Yet my vans in front of the door? Other companies you just got your own milk from the fridge, took it to your van and loaded. Here the fridge is out of bounds and drivers can't move their milk to their van??? Ask for your milk and have to wait while they smoke and play on phones then decide someone else is 1st. 1st night I was sent out with a disgusting individual, constantly passing wind and burping telling me he couldn't wait to get home to touch himself very inappropriately and not vulgar individual. Made me very uncomfortable. Glad to be on my own. Ask the "manager" a question and gwy a story. No direct answers to anything! Trys to take over control how I load my van when I have my own lay our that I'm used to, but trys to move round my crates? How does that impact him? How I want my milk laid out? Does it to everyone he's always right and how they choose to do it is wrong. He likes things his way, even when they have no impact or benefit to him, they just inconvenience the drivers.
