What is the hiring process like at MANTECH?

Paychecks and benefits are good, and the recruitment process was very transparent with great communication.

Job in execution did NOT match the job description given. Teams were very “closed” and did not welcome newcomers, in spite of me asking how I could help.

They were very thorough with background checks. Had face to face meetings for hiring and onboarding.

Hiring process took a bit longer than other companies, but they did a good job.

I have not discovered negatives so far. I've found a lot of positivity here and support from staff and management.

The D1X Onboarding process was a phenomenal experience. From the welcome message given by the top execs of the company to the summary Jeopardy game ending were seamless, informative, professional and felt sincere.

I don't recall some of the questions asked in the Jeopardy Game summary info being covered in some of the briefings.

The information that was put out during the D1X process was definitely helpful. A lot of my many questions was answered.

I had a few more questions to ask, but I know those will be answered in the coming days.

As an HR professional I've been through countless onboarding sessions, but as a new employee ManTech's was definitely top-notch! First day details were well communicated by TA and my immediate supervisor, my computer equipment arrived prior to my start date with easy-to-understand set-up instructions, IT called me the morning of my start date to make sure I didn't have any log-on issues, and the onboarding team covered relevant information at a good pace. The presenters were well prepared and engaging. I look forward to meaningful career at ManTech!

My recruiter was incredibly proactive, keeping me informed and supported all the way up to my start date. That consistent communication made navigating the onboarding process smooth and stress-free. What stood out most was how great my recruiter was at staying in touch throughout the entire process. Their responsiveness and attention to detail made me feel valued before I even stepped through the door. It set the tone for what has continued to be a positive and engaging work environment. Overall, this company truly invests in its people from the very beginning. No cons to report at this time

ManTech's Day 1 Experience (D1X) was the brilliant! I feel like I have a firm footing navigating my new career. I like the break-out rooms to meet fellow employees. I have never had such an experience at a new company and I have been with many companies over the years.

None, they just wasted my time.

I was hired for a position and about a week later. They told me that the position that I was hired for was being deprecated. However, they agreed to still allow me to get the security clearance for the position. Almost seven months into the security clearence process, I get an email stating ". Unfortunately, ManTech was not awarded the recompete for this work, which means we are unable to move forward with your offer at this time" This is ridicilous considering the amount of time I spent into this process just to be told that it was all for nothing. Very unprofessional of this company? I do not recommend anybody attempting to even apply here at this point.Because if there is a possibility that they will just turn you down in the end. Thanks for wasting my time Mantech.
