      Cons

Terrible onboarding, quota doubled in the last year for virtually same OTE, lots of trail and error and people leaving

      Pros

      - Flexible work, hybrid options available - Solid benefits offerings - Generally very empathetic culture across the company - Attention to career development

      Cons

      - Shuffle in leadership, seems to be steering away from flexible work

      Save yourself and just DON’T

      Pros

The people - who are not in management Diversity

      Cons

Management: Management does not care - if you aren’t kissing butt to move up the ladder, don’t waste your time. You will get crucified by clients and get blamed by management. They do not have your back, they do not support you. They prioritize hiring people managers rather than experts in the field and it shows. The whole upper management group is one big clique that stands around and gossips. What they do all day? Who knows because it’s definitely not hopping on calls despite employers being irate and requesting to ask to management. They will tell workers to “own” the interaction without them, negating all support and responsibility as a manager. Time off: Work life balance? Doesn’t exist. They say flexible time off but nothing about it is flexible. They will make you “make up” missed in office days. Meaning, your sick on an in office day? You have to come another day to make it up. Compensation: Nee hires making more than older more experienced reps. This is a regular occurrence. There is no bonus so there is no incentive to do good work. Information: getting information is terrible. Systems will contradict information and you will often get different answers from one agent to the other. Moving up: if you are close with upper management moving up isn’t out of the question. If you aren’t (which most aren’t) good luck.

      Mixed Feelings

      Underwriter
      Former employee
      New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Flexible Work Effort to have good culture Executive team attempts open communication

      Cons

A lot of turn over. Communication amongst departments is lacking. Technology could be better. Company has higher goals than they seemed to be meeting. While the company prompts diversity & inclusion, those that don’t have “woke” beliefs may feel excluded and forced into meetings that are uncomfortable.

Flexibility with PTO Good Pay Friendly and Inclusive culture

      Cons

Too many tasks given with no clear prioritization/priorities constantly change Little development opportunities outside of workshops.

      Run far and fast

      Onboarding manager
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

I’ve met a few wonderful people that I maintain personal relationships with.

      Cons

The onboarding department is one of the most juvenile departments I’ve ever worked for. Management doesn’t have a clue as to what they’re doing. Every other day there’s changes. You are scrutinized by QA. You do not get to enjoy the same perks as other departments. Don’t be fooled by flexible PTO, it’s everything but flexible. Don’t get me started on the pay! This company is one of the worst paying companies in the industry. They think a 1% raise is something to celebrate, Senior managers are some of the worst I’ve ever come across. Most of the people on that team are miserable and management is either clueless or doesn’t care, There’s a high turnover rate. If you don’t ask a million questions and pretend to be interested in the many meetings they have, it’s counted against you. Prepare to be on camera every single day, whether it’s internal or with incompetent customers. You’ll be expected to “cushion” aka coddle customers and cater to their tantrums. Did I mention there’s an internal meeting several times a week on top of customer meetings?! Answering a simple email takes the longest time as you have to write internal notes, categorize it, and link it to previous interactions. I’m convinced management sits at a round table and thinks of more nonsense for us to do. You’ll also have a black out period during the holidays when most people want to be with their family, So don’t count on going anywhere between the first week of December till about the third week of January. This department is reminiscent of high school, it’s all a popularity contest, All in all, I met some great people and learned about what I never want to deal with again!!

Flexibility and perks overshadowed by instability and confusion

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee

      Business outlook

      Pros

flexible wlb, 2-3 days in the office a week, good office and cool snacks and events

      Cons

Changing priorities leading to randomized layoffs with little long-term clarity of strategy in mind. Even when things feel a bit more stable, things suddenly shift and hurts the culture in the org. There is also confusing expectations and lack of support from immediate team. Overall it feels like a sinking ship from when I started, and any time it feels like it's getting better, it doesn't.
