Changed the role in Jan 2025 and now make considerably less money as a BDE to fund the useless staff in London who get paid triple our salaries. They hire new BDEs with no experience on double the salary of performing current employees. Poor management who constantly go back on their word. They don't value their staff you are just a number to them. Only way to get promotions is if someone leaves/gets fired therefore no career progression. People are praised on KPIs not on revenue. In the office everyday with no social element to the job as everyone is miserable with the new structure, No flexibility and only bare minimum holiday allowance. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Great team culture and social opportunities. I have had the chance to collaborate with fantastic clients on projects I am truly proud of. GDS culture is centered around innovation and creativity making it a fantastic company to be a part of.

I have been working here for 2 ½ years, and it has been a rewarding experience. One of the great aspects of my time here is the versatility of my role. My tasks are constantly evolving, which has provided me with numerous opportunities to learn new skills and grow within my career in finance. The company also really values team bonding and socialising. We have regular work parties and rewards during the year.

I joined GDS Group after completing my Master’s in Advanced Computer Science, and I have spent 3.5 rewarding years here as a Salesforce Developer. The entire journey has been incredibly positive, from the interview process to my day-to-day work. The recruitment and HR teams made the onboarding process smooth and efficient. The interview was well-structured, consisting of three stages, and the team was always available to address any questions or concerns. It’s clear that GDS hires talented individuals across all departments, creating a team that is driven and collaborative. While I wasn’t solely focused on Salesforce development, GDS gave me fantastic exposure to various applications and integrations with different platforms, broadening my technical skills. The work environment is one where growth and learning are actively encouraged. I’ve had great opportunities to enhance my career through team support and positive encouragement. While GDS encourages career growth, the opportunities for vertical growth in some departments can be limited depending on the team structure.

Nothing really, great people worked there, but they all left or they were fired

Arrogant people with inflated egos in decision making roles who lack the skills and experience required for their roles. Their advancement happened because of the personal connections rather than merit or capability. They knew someone up there and that's how they got their ''senior role''. Wasted talent, several of the strongest performers were let go, while many other highly skilled and loyal employees chose to leave voluntarily after years of dedicated service. Every year about there is a massive cull where maybe even half of the floor is fired. Management also struggles with employee recognition. Rather than offering meaningful incentives or career development opportunities they incentivise you with more darts throws where you can win literally NOTHING!

Everyone is friendly. Amazing technology tools so you learn lots and they have talented creative departments as well. Great opportunities for carer progression and chances to travel for work. You get what you put in working at GDS so lead from the font carriage and jump onboard the train to success!

Handovers from staff before they leave please. Also, hybrid working would be nice touch.
