Pros
Working at flannerys comes with it's ups and downs like any place of work. While there are many days I wish I didn't have to drag myself out of bed, I do on the whole enjoy what I do and the people that work there. It's a fast paced environment that not everyone can survive in. If you aren't pulling your weight your out the door. There has been occasions where some people manage to survive on other people's hard work but it never lasts too long. To work here you need to be able to quickly think on your feet and be okay with confrontation, as it can get a bit heated sometimes, it does pass and never hard feelings after. The managing director Gareth is approachable and willing to assist when needed, he is fair but will call it as he sees it. The depot manager Dave is again very approachable and favours people who work hard and get the job done, neither have time for employees that slack off, but will give all the time for you if you put in the effort to prove yourself.
Cons
The training on start up is a bit hap hazard. Think, throw you into the ocean and hope you can figure out how to swim. With such a busy environment it's difficult for employees to find the time to properly train, however they will answer any questions you have and help when asked.
